Co-stars from ‘The Office’ proceed with Cup Final Twitter war during Bruins triumph
John Krasinski proceeded with his online quarrel with Jenna Fischer by taking steps to welcome somebody other than his better half from “The Office” to the choosing game between the St. Louis Blues and Boston Bruins on Wednesday.
Krasinski, a Bruins fan from Boston, has been dueling with the St. Louis-conceived Fischer all through the Stanley Cup Final. Fischer picked up the high ground after the Blues’ 2-1 win and tweeted to Krasinski that Pam (her character on the show) would take Stanley to Game 6. Be that as it may, Krasinski recovered gloating rights after Boston leveled the best-of-7 arrangement with a 5-1 win in Game 6.
The Boston-St. Louis contention among Krasinski and Fischer goes back to their first season on the sitcom, when the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals played in the 2004 World Series. The arrangement split up the set, with Fischer and Phyllis Smith supporting the Cardinals and Krasinski, BJ Novak and Steve Carell pulling for Boston.
“This feud has been going on for a long time between us,” Fischer told NBC during the principal break of Game 6. “When we were shooting the demonstrate the Red Sox and Cardinals were in the World Series, and Phyllis and I were in my trailer pulling for the Cardinals, and he had BJ and Steve Carell in his trailer cheering for the Red Sox, and they cleared us in four.”
Fischer is trusting the Blues win their first title in 52 years in the NHL, halfway so she could have gloating rights against Krasinski.
“It’s my turn,” Fischer said. “It is my turn to rub it in his face.”
